I am installing a backup camera and need to get the camera wires from the inside near the drivers kick panel to the outside of the truck. What is the easiest way to go?

There's a bunch of rubber plugs in the floor. Easy to poke a hole threw one.

There’s a grommet under the drivers seat. You can fish wire through it without poking a hole (depending on wire gauge and number of wires). Just realized this was for a backup camera. I managed to get the rca plug for the video wire though without cutting a hole in the grommet.

I pushed a loop of scrap wire up from the bottom. I put the rca plug cable through the loop and pulled it back out, along with the video cable. Then I pulled the video cable to pull the plug through. I was afraid that it’d damage the video cable, but two years later it’s still fine.

You can also go through the firewall on drivers side and follow OEM wire loom to the rear of the truck.

What @Ncskeeter said. Make life a lil easier and remove the tape beforehand. Retape when done.

I’d go the firewall route too. You can poke and fish through the rubber grommet right next to factory harness. Clean and simple no need to remove seats lift carpet ect. I’ve routed my accessory wiring in that spot without any issues and you can’t even see it. Can get you a picture shortly if you want it

That's a huge hole for the rca connector.
No need to remove the seat, just the sill plate to access the grommet.
Easier to work than under the dash too.

The seal plate? Is that the plastic piece you see as you open the door?

Yes. It just snaps off then you can push the carpet back and see the grommet

This is just to the right of the brake fluid reservoir and I have 2 sets of accessory harnesses going through it- 1 with smooth shiny wire loom and the other is the corrugated looking loom
