Eastern TN - transmission service

I am visiting Greene County TN and I am looking to have my trans serviced prior to heading back west. Anyone have a shop they can recommend. Thanks

If it’s the 4.0 with 4WD, the avg. cost I was quoted by the dealer was in the $200 range.

Obviously, you are probably not in the “right place” to do it yourself.
If you could do a Drain and Fill yourself, you’d save a lot of money.

 

I was able to visit Allen’s transmission in Newport. They test drove and confirmed my suspicion that the torque converter is sticking. They are going to drop the pan this morning and if all looks okay complete a trans flush and get me back on the road. Thanks, charlie
