I bought them. I was about to pay $700 for them today at a 4WP store when I saw they had them on eBay and the seller happens to be 4WP. ‍♂️

I'm wondering if this is must buy at this price point? I'm kind of strapped given I just got wheels tires and sliders.... I was going to wait to buy these later on- but man I'm one coupon code away from going in on these

I’m already getting mine in the mail tomorrow, as said by UPS email, 3 days earlier then quoted. Look on their regular website to see that they’re 150$ more expensive. I even emailed the eBay seller 4WP to confirm it was true and they got back to me quickly. I’lol post pics tomorrow for sure when they come.

People should jump on this today asap. That is a great price for the 6112s. I ran them before my ADS setup. Great shock for the price point.

What made u decide to change them out? Do you think the difference is worth the cost?

I changed them out because I got a used set of 2.5 coilovers with 700lb springs to support the plate bumper I have. Otherwise they worked fine. They had plenty of damping for my DCLB. 2.5 coilovers new run close to $1500 and these are almost a 1/3rd the price. These and 2.5 coilovers are hard to compare because you pay for different features with the 2.5 coilover (rebuildable/valveable/spring adjustable). But dampening performance on the 6112s is excellent with size of the piston.

I was looking around and stumbled on 6112 have specific part numbers for 2nd and 3rd gen. Can anyone clarify this? Any benefits if this is true?

This is what appears to be listed on Ebay > Bilstein 6112 Series Lift Kit - 46-241627

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...112-5160-with-3-leaf-aal-for-1-5-lift.486379/

I found this thread calling out this part number > 3rd gen specific 6112s are part number #47-234413 springs included

    Thoughts?

Posted a bit late... They arrived Friday a few days early, but I got a 3 day ban for whatever reason.

Just as a reference for anyone looking, I ordered these same ones though eBay as well back in December during a 15% off deal. IIRC, they ended up coming out to $508 shipped.

I would give Bilstein a call.... 6112's and 5160's arriving on Friday!

About to pull the trigger on the Deaver Expedition Leaf Pack, U402 - Stage One.... then it's done and done.

National back order on the 5160 left rear shock.

If I put the 6112’s on before replacing my rear will this cause issues, or a second trip for alignment?
