are you turning on your headlights before turning on the fog lights? , with the method explained here, fog lights will only be able to come on, if you have either the park lights on, headlights or high beams on.

I noticed in your build thread that your white wire is attached to the tightening screw on the battery terminal. I don't think that'd make a difference, but I think the connector I got allowed me to put it right on the terminal.

Also, are you sure it's on the positive terminal, and not the negative? You have it connected to the negative, uncovered post, I think the positive post is under the red cover on the other side. Switch it and give that a whirl.

Did you put two 10A mini fuses in the add-a-fuse, as well? Check the truck's manual to find out where the 10A-TAIL fuse is in the cabin's fuse box, that is the one you need to be putting the add-a-fuse into. Once there, and with two 10A mini fuses in it, the lamps should turn on once either your parking lights or headlights are on, and you engage the aftermarket fog lamp switch.

Not sure what else could be wrong here. As I said before I followed everything in this thread to a T, and as soon as I was done everything worked, so another possible situation is that your relay or something else is faulty.

Those wires in my build thread are actually going to completely different lights haha. I have another wire coming from the positive terminal for the fog lights that isn't pictured. I will try putting the mini fuses in tomorrow to see if that works. Thanks.

i got the whole oem assembly including the harness and there r a couple plugs: 1 to connect to the fog light light wires, 1 for the switch then there r 2 more. one has a fuse wired into it and one has 4 holes in the plug but one wire. the one with a fuse inline is a connecter that would accept a flat, male connector. any ideas?

Yes. Go back and view my posts, I posted 5-10 photos of my own detailing and captioning the set I had, and was pretty detailed with how I getting the job done. IIRC, the white wire was in some wonky ass brownish-reddish plastic connector, I don't have the slightest clue what type of connector it went to. I slid it out of that, snipped the wire and put on my own circular connector and shrink-wrapped it.

Like I said between EPA's endless posts of help and my posts with photos more recently, just about every question should be answered.

I've read this entire thread and from what I gather. My V6 is prewired for fogs but has none. I can see the plugs for the lights. They are stashed up in there very neatly. So I'm guessing that under my dash there is a plug for the switch. If it's there all I need are 2 replacement lights an OEM switch and a relay to plug into the proper place in the big fuse box under the hood. Am I right or is there something I am missing?:)

so by taping off the acc fuse and just connecting the white wire to battery the switch still works?

Just finished installing them. I put in the yellow fog light kit from eBay. I ended up using the acc fuse anyways. But anywho GREAT WRITE UP!! Just followed the op's directions and had no problems.

What happened to all of the pictures? I'm a little confused, where do I tap in for power, where do I install the relay?

    OEM swith in stock location

    wiring trough firewall

wires to the passenger side foglight

wires for drivers side fog light

    behind driver's side headlight

between battery and driver's side fender
