8 hours to go! Judging by the bid history it appears to be a two man race.

    2 hours to go!

Here's a couple of pics of some work I did on my own Satoshi today. I cut out the little fake triangle mesh and put actual mesh behind it. I don't recommend this! I thought "oh this should take no time". Wrong! It was a pain in the ass due to the cramped area you have to work in. Looks nice though!

^^^ Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Now that this thread has been bumped I'm probably going to get a bunch more PMs I might as well say that I won't be back in the Satoshi game until August 2010, and even that depends on if blackhawke hasn't put everyone else out of business. ;)

Nope he hasn't....I've made 3 in the last 3 weeks totaling for about 6-7 in the last few months. I don't do them in the same time frame as him though either, and I try to keep it local. He has driven the price down though lol

Grillcraft forever, that mesh looks like it would flex and lose shape in the wind.

Thank you for your wonderful contribution to the thread. I only wish you were around 6+ months ago when this grille was sold. If only you had reached the buyer in time...

Yes the mesh instantly deforms once the wind hits the grille. This is primarily due to the fact the the mesh in question is not made of metal and is instead made of a mixture of sugar, cough syrup and hair that is swept off the floor of a barbers shop in northern Idaho. This mixture is molded into the shape similar to that of a grillcraft but at a much lower cost.

The Satoshi owners that use a product other than a superior $100+ Grillcraft fully understand the danger they are putting themselves and their family in by using this weaker product in an effort to save money. They also understand the need to contastly replace the mesh due to the massive deformation that even the lightest breeze can inflict, not to mention the near total destruction of highway speeds.

My grille has well over 12,000 miles on it. I only hope it can hold on for a little longer until I get that next shipment of Idaho barbershop floor hair in.

I see its a very good job, the mesh seems too thin for my taste though, good luck bump!

    ** Nevermind**

    Sorry... LOL
