ECG Fabrication Review

@StealthTaco Any dates on when the new grill will be available for purchase? I would like to order if it is better quality and looks the same.

 

I ended up purchasing the exact same grill from customcargrills.com. About $50 more expensive. Ordered this past Saturday and it will be delivered this Thursday.

 

I'm having a similar issue, placed a order on July 5th, received multiple estimated ship dates, seriously like 3-4, have tried calling at all different times to get a answer... if I email thy reply like 3days later... finally after receiving tracking information! Excited to get my grill! And on 8/12/17 I received a email saying my order status has changed to REFUNDED!?! No explication as to why ... still don't see the money in my account... still haven't herd from thm... thought I'd try here... @StealthTaco

 

Maybe with all the difficulties members are having with this Vendor, his ability to sell to members should be suspended until the business gets its stuff in order. What do you think @jberry813 I mean people are getting their money back but a lot of undeserved crap is coming along with it.

 

this company sounds like a real winner.

 

If you are not ready to ship or don't even have a product ready, THEN DON'T ACCEPT PEOPLES MONEY. that simple.

Well I can tell u I got the grill from him as a test fit. So I paid 100.00 dollars. He sent the 3rd Gen grill. After doing install and taking photos, I got to keep the grill and refunded the 100.00.
I can tell u it took 5-6 hours to do the install. It was a pita!! While on the phone with him I told him my dislikes and he stated he was going to change the design.
But that's my only dealings with him.

That's not the exact grill I was looking to purchase. The grill I was looking at was with the bar in the middle

 

Well that's all good and dandy but now no one can get ahold of the company. This was the only site we could actually get ahold of them by posting and tagging their user. So now no one can't get in contact since their phone doesn't work and they don't respond to emails.

They are redesigning their grills from steel to aluminum and making them one piece so they can be installed quicker and easier.

I wasn't looking to have these guys banned just have a thread where I can get a hold of someone through that company

 

He will probably show up on here soon, I left a comment on his last instagram photo to please contact me about order #1021 and other followers started asking me questions, and whn I started to respond to thm he deleted the post. lol last comment I left on the next instagram pic was to come check here.

 

Wow.. Again would of been nice if they communicated that to the members here.

Just coming to vent...

Signed up to be a "tester" for the new second gen grille. Paid $100 deposit (through paypal for goods or services, luckily...). Shipping label was created, but nothing else after that. That was mid June. Was supposed to arrive June 21st. At the end of July, many attempts to reach out, on here and through other mediums, I finally got "we are redesigning the grill, sorry for the inconvenience, you should have been sent a refund." A month later, no refund had been issued, and no communication from StealthTaco or ECG so I had to create a claim with Paypal.

 

I get it, I was going to get a grille for free, so I don't have much to complain about. But, it was frustrating due to the lack of communication, and because I went out and bought a grille to use instead of cutting up the one that was already on my truck.
