    Hello,

    I live in Chelmsford, MA

I sense an ECGS bushing for my transfer case in the not too distant future. Can someone recommend a good shop for this type of job? Maybe a place where they've done this update before?

I don't think I want to do it myself...

    Steve

@tacobell007 here's some business for Levi. These guys did mine as well as my whole lift, very anal with what they do. Levi owns his own vehicle lift and his shop charge is 50.00 an hour. I believe he was or is a Head Mechanic for a G.M. Dealership. Many Tacoma owners have gone to him and have zero complaints.

can certainly do it. I had Boch Toyota South do mine just because Justin was pretty booked up but Justin does great work, did my lift, and has done other ECGS bushing installs

Yessir as @Unchained 5150 stated, we have done many Tacomas (as well as other vehicles) and we have the tools on hand now for doing the job since we have had quite a few requests, about 10-15 have been done so far, along with lifts and other work done as well. Shoot me a PM and we can figure out a time that works. His shop is in Florence, MA for reference on distance

I see what you did there !

The dealer is doing needle bearing replacement right now under warranty so I have some time to plan.

Just so I know @tacobell007, would I supply the parts? Could you pm me some details ($$$)?

Should have asked them to install it instead of replacing with a new bearing. Ive done that with the 6 speed throw out bearings. If we had it apart for parts warranty we would have the customer order the updated throwout bearing sleeve and install it for nothing.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have the same request as the OP. I'm looking to have a lift and the ECGS bushing installed. I'm located in Stoughton - just a few towns over from Norton where it seems Justin is located. I tried messaging him on Facebook, but didn't get anywhere. Does anyone have another contact method for Justin or have another suggestion for a shop? I'd really like to give my business to a small local shop instead of a dealer.
    Thanks - Dave

About 600-700 miles on the dealer replaced bearing. So far so good...
