ECGS bushing replacement - SE MA

Anyone know of a member or a shop that could help out with the ECGS bushing replacement in Southeast MA/RI? dealer wont do it due to non-toyta part. I've reached out to a few shops locally with no luck. Any info would be helpful. thanks

The dealer here would, but was gonna cost somewhere around $250.00.

No, I have a 2009 w/115k miles.

 

not too far. I'll keep you in mind if I cant find a shop to do it. I"m afraid of breaking something doing it myself, but would have more peace of mind with an accomplice.

 

I appreciate it. I thought the TSB's were only covered if the vehicle was still under warranty? Mine is past the 6 years/60k threshold.

 

I think it's the dealers choice to honor it or not.

 

I had the TSB done, and that went bad too. But Boch Toyota south had no issue doing my ECGS bushing install but they won't warranty it of course. They are under new ownership since then though.

Not sure when I'll be able to get around to it, but let's keep it on the burner. 3 heads and 6 hands have to be better than 1 and 2.

 

Who owns them now ?

 

The hardest part about this job may be removing the axle nut.
