ECGS bushing swap meet

Hey guys, I know we had a few people interested in meeting up to do the ecgs bearing swap. SaphiraTaco said he could host. What we need is the removal tool and bearing insert tool thingy. He was thinking about next weekend either March 9th - 10th.

 

I live in Lake Forest Park. PM me for my address.
I think we can work on two trucks at the same time. One in my garage and one under a small tent in the driveway. I live on dead end street so extra parking is not an issue.

 

I guess we will just have to hope the other people interested see this. We will be pretty stuck with out the tool

 

I don’t have the ECGS tool or install tool.

I just have other hand tools such as a seal puller and misc things + experience.

@Kidwidataco I would post a link to this thread in the NW/BS page. I saw you mention a new thread, but didn’t know where to find it.

I'm in like Flynn. If we can't get the tool from someone local, I have no problem purchasing it.

 

I wouldn't mind pitching in money if you had to buy it. I remember somebody saying they had it though. If we dont find out in the next couple of days I'd order it. I have no problem pay pal'in you some coin.

 

We need to find a good day too. I'm usually open both days

 

I can do Saturdays or Sundays.

 

If you’d like my help, Saturday works better for me.

Edit: I can take on some of the misc. items. I did mine recently so can bring basically everything I used. Might be able to do more than one vehicle at once.

I also have the 35mm socket.

 

I have the removal tool, you guys can borrow it. Also just rent a bearing driver set (install tool) from an auto parts store. The rentals are free, as long as you don’t keep the tool or break it.

 

I'm open to both Sat/Sun and don't mind being available for both days. My preference would be the non-rainy day.

Okay so maybe Saturday then? So @CBenfell can come if he wants? Preferably earlish in the AM so I could go snowboard lol but any time works. I've been putting this off for two long
