ECGS bushing swap meet

If someone in the group wants to purchase my ECGS removal tool for $20, I am in Seattle and can arrange for a pickup.

Mine showed up too.

$60 steel bushing: shipped with lots of padding.
$250 vacuum: Shipped with no padding and marred up from being knocked around... Just had to get that out.

Ya, it was really hard spending almost 100 bucks total for that small ass bushing and seal. But oh well. Sorry about your vacuum. I almost thought they just sent packing foam. That stuff was PACKED in my box

Here’s how I made my removal tool:









I ended up grinding it down quite a bit more so it could get into place in the diff.

But we successfully removed the needle bearing and replaced it with the ecgs bushing and a new seal.

 

Oh man, i need to do this! You guys have an extra spot if I could even get a bushing in time?

@wafflroo okay will do, just wanted to check to see if it was okay to join since I'm fairly new here. Do i need the CV axle seal too, or just the bushing?

 

I’m just worrying about my bushing, with trucks as new as ours I wouldn’t worry about the seal
