    That's awesome! I'm guessing you were still able to tighten the collet after it was inserted inside the needle bearing?

    Anybody have the dimensions for the ECGS bushing installation tool? Would like to make one along with the extraction tool.

    Isn't it shown in post #9 of this thread?

    Edit: Never mind, you are asking about the install tool...

    Where are you located, I have the extraction tool and I think I used a large socket for the install?

    I'm up in Canada.

    Have access to a lathe and material at work and don't ever mind having a reason to hop on it and bang something out.

    As for the bushing driver; through all my experience as a millwright whenever you can drive a brass bushing in with a plastic faced driver or puck even you are doing yourself a favor. Have installed many in a pinch just as you described, but the likeliness that you leave an "eyebrow" on it and smush in the ID of the bushing goes through the roof. Once I make this driving UHMW puck, I'll do just as you mentioned and use a socket and extension to drive puck into the bushing.
