    I just ordered mine and while I'm waiting to get it, I'm looking at the Taco to get an idea of what the installation is gonna take. Has anyone made any videos or taken pictures showing the removal of the necessary pieces required to get the wire from the knob to the back of the ECT button? Reading all the posts, especially the two quoted above, it sounds fairly easy but is it really that simple for someone who has never taken apart a dash before?

    That is a big help, thanks. Two minutes in to this video, he says to not remove the center console completely - will this be enough for what I need to do or will I have to completely remove it?

    I used a Soldering pencil to enlarge the space in the collar for the wire to go thru. Just be careful so you don't burn a hole in your shift boot
