Was thinking the same thing. Competition is ok, but posting this in another’s thread isn’t.

This is the thread that made me look for something plug and play for the perm ECT mode. Not sure how I'm hijacking this tread Kanye style, read the subject.

Anyone know of any connectors for sale somewhere to make a pnp harness for the cigarette lighter plug?

No, it is set up for our needs from the manufacturer. Yeah I agree, this thing has a lot of nice features I almost feel like I'm wasting it's full potential by only using it as a timer to trip 1 small relay.

Thanks for the write up, less than $20 and i am up and running. i know you do a lot of R&D which saves us regular guys time and money. Its also why i am a MESO customer lol. seriously, thanks big time. did the bypass switch like someone else did.

for those that dont know, you can still turn off the ECT with the button so no need to really run a bypass switch, i had some and it was too easy so i did it.

this hack allows ECT on all the time, just press the ECT button if you want it off. Great hack - great idea , cheap and easy.

thanks everyone who contributed to this

You can do it for 20 bucks.

    https://www.amazon.com/PAC-TR-7-Uni...mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=tr7&qid=1581909896&sr=8-3

    https://www.amazon.com/Ehdis-Relay-..._11?keywords=12v+relay&qid=1581909990&sr=8-11

    Just follow this diagram.

    hJ0LdZll.jpg

I did the mod last fall and all I had to buy was the Pac-Tr7 module because I had an old remote starter parts unit laying around and got the relay and some wires and connectors from it.

Do you know if I can also use the tr-7 as a trigger for a front cam if I wanted to install one, so using that one tr-7 for both the cam and the ECT mod?

use this if you want a front camera, i think mine was 125 with TW promo code. search it. this module took 5 min to install , complete plug and play and no switches needed.

This module has many features but I think the best solution is as @harbrown suggested above.

    Only there are better prices.

    And

I bought it through eBay because of the free shipping.

This is the post about the front anytime Cam setup.

That ECT mode seems to fix most tacoma AT "complaints". Nice to have it on all the time. Very cool OP.

Now, if we could only wire up a single red button which simultaneously turns on the ECT, hazard lights, LED off road light bars, E-locker, wipers, and the stereo to blast Pantera at full blast...Now thattttttttttttt, would be cool.
