I would trade the black one for a red one. I managed to place an order for a stealth black one but would prefer red.

You can slip that in with my order from today and I'll test it for you. Amber led will work great for what I'm thinking though it wont be lit up often.

I already have a red, got these cause I thought these had the revised buttons.

Going to check out which one I like better, then sell the other one.

    Just got the shipped notice.
    Fast service as always.

I don't have a write up, but I think I explained it earlier in this thread, around page 50 maybe? I have the anytime backup camera kit and tapped into that.

Damn @MESO, what did you bribe USPS with? Went to check the tracking number and it said delivered, walked out to the mailbox and there she sat.

California to Florida in less than 72 hours over a weekend is damn impressive

Alright did my install today. Took about an hour, 30 mins of trying weird ways to run the wire, and another 30 mins making sure everything worked as I buttoned everything back together one section at a time.

The video in post #217 isn’t as shockingly quick as you might think. I attacked each panel the same way and had everything undone in roughly 15-20 seconds. The only part I struggled with was getting the panel around the shifter and E break. Mainly because there’s hardly anywhere to grip and I was sweaty as hell working out in this Florida heat.

    Don’t overthink it too much

MOVE your shifter.........sometimes the wires move or get disconnected!......

Just use some heat shrink if you feel like it might pull away.

Oh I definitely did. Turned on the truck and switch into each gear 3-4 times and tested the button 6-7 times in each gear. Then after I put each panel back on I turned the truck on again and tested it out to make sure I didn't snag/knock something loose. I'm pretty meticulous about these things since I hate doing anything twice. Worked well on a Costco trip immediately afterwards as well
