My '04 PreRunner had a button labeled ECT which I believe engaged a sport mode for the automatic transmission. My new '07 doesn't have a button. The dealer said it is now automatic, and will adjust to your driving. What exactly is ECT, and how does it work?

    Thanks

ECT = Electronically Controlled Transmission. Just changes the shift points for a sportier drive. You don't have it I think because Toyota has tried to mimic a manual transmission with their new autos.
