The sway bar rubs the truck frame or the skid plate? How much lift do you have?

Is the sway bar rubbing the truck frame or the skid plate with the spacers installed? I used these coilovers to level my truck also (no rear lift) & the sway bar is not rubbing the frame. It is extremely close to the skid plate though with the spacers installed.

There’s two pieces of metal that go from the crossmember up underneath the radiator. It’s rubbing those. The skid plate part that you take off to get to the oil filter is not being rubbed

Your best bet is to re-install the spacers, remove the skid plate supports & install some washers between the frame & skid plate supports to gain clearance.

Only if you use it to adjust the coilovers.

Had no issues adjusting the coilovers with the supplied spanner wrench and the front of the truck on jack stands to get the weight off.

One side was more difficult than the other... But still, a quick spray of PB blastr and some elbow grease and voila... Once it gets moving it is easy.

285s on today... No rubbing. I do have the CMC done. 17x8 +5mm wheels.

I just used the supplied spanner yesterday to adjust my coilovers and it worked fine. A little stiff but it worked fine. Didn’t even use any lube, though it probably would have helped. Yes, I did take the weight off the car and removed the tires to gain access but no real problem with the spanner. I guess maybe it depends on expectations; I expected it to be stiff to adjust and it was. If someone expects it to be easy then they might be in for a disappointment. I could be wrong though.

What does everyone think of the ride so far? I installed Eibach coilovers in the front along with the pro shocks in the rear. Coming from the biltein 5100s, finding the ride slightly stiffer over small bumps and potholes on the road. Have since added some sand bags in the back which seems to help a little. Only have 100 miles or so on the kit so far, hoping it will soften up over time. I do have a 2wd doublecab, im thinking weighing much less than the 4wd has something to do with the stiff ride. I’ve had no problems adjusting the ride height with the included spanner wrench, even with the tires on. Just had to jack up the front to remove tension off the springs.

The stiffer ride is from having coils with a higher spring rate than what you had on the 5100s. I had bilstiens with a lower spring rate and with my armor it sagged. That's actually why I stepped up to the higher spring rate.

I’ve ridden in other trucks/jeeps and would say they are better than 5100 but not as good as fox 2.0 in some ways. Pretty much what I expected.

overall, i like them better than the 5100’s as well. Just hoping it softens up a tad with time. For now, ill keep sand bags in the bed.

I would say they’re pretty soft when set level. Cranked up they’ll be firmer but by then you will be running 33-34” tires ride quality will depend on tires too.

And these are easier to adjust the fox 2.0. That was my biggest reason for choosing the Eibach. I was also looking at the bilstien 6112. But being able to jack up your truck and adjust the height is a REALLY nice feature.

Yeah too bad my wrench broke. I was doing it just like in the eibach YouTube video too lol. They’re mailing me the newer style one which is cool.

The fact that you can actually get Eibach on the phone puts them one or two points above everybody else.
