Headstrong has these in stock, just not listed on the site. Ordered mine yesterday.

    Good luck finding rears tho.

    Mark,

Can you comment on ride quality differences between the 2.0 coilovers VS the standard Pro Kit?

    Thank You!

Mark, what do you recommend for thread lube for the coilovers? Silicone spray? Something else? Tanner mentions "Thread lubricant", but doesn't say any more about it. I would think that something like WD-40 would work, but would then be a magnet for dirt.

Do you know if headstrong could swap the spring out to a 650 lb spring?

That sounds like a question for them. I didn't see Eibach offering different coils for them tho. Might be more of an Eibach question.

Side note, my coilovers arrive tomorrow. Will post updates as I install.

You could probably spray everything down with brake clean afterward to get rid of the lube.

Looks like we should have these in stock by the first or second week of next month. I'm waiting to hear back from our purchasing dept. with 100% confirm.

None needed. They are toleranced correctly and threads are captured. There is more than enough sheer strength here.

Certainly. The PTC2.0's received a more trail-focused valving and spring design. We spent over two hundred miles with 8 different engineers and sales team members evaluating ride quality and function to come up with what he have today. These have similar characteristics to the Pro-Truck-Lift kit, but offer improved compliance over rough terrain, even at max lift height.

Tanner mentions lubricant, but a penetrating oil like WD or PB will work. Just wipe them down when you're finished. As you can see in the video, dirt is going to clog the threads whether there is residue or not. The key is to clear the threads as best as you can before moving the perch. A little compressed air also goes a long way.

The coils used on the PTC2.0's are off-the-shelf 3"ID coilover race springs, so they're easily switched out to different rates/lengths. With the volume of orders and levels of distribution, we are unable to offer an a'la carte option at this time. I would touch base with vendors who may already be offering these types of options like Headstrong and see if they can accommodate the request.

We're doing our best as a marketing team to catch up with this product line promotion (release during quarantine screwed up our proper roll-out) so your feedback is important. What else would you like to see?

To anyone who is thinking "maybe a strap wrench will work for adjusting these!". It doesn't. I got a half a turn (trying to go lower, which should be easier than trying to go higher) and that was it. That being said, it's half a turn more than I got with the chrome handle with the little nub at the end that was supposed to be the adjustment tool that came in the box. That thing started to bend as soon as I put any pressure on it. Completely useless.

I am pretty disappointed that these didn't come with a useable adjustment tool. I know that a good one is coming out soon, but that doesn't fix the "bro lift" on my truck right now that is higher on one side than the other.

These look very similar to the Toytec Boss lift I have. Toytec told me Eibach makes their springs for their Boss kit...any truth to this? If so, I'll likely get these over the Toytec ones if they ever have to be replaced due to the price difference.

Please call in and speak with Tanner. Get your name on the list and we'll ship the replacement as soon as it arrives. He may also have some pointers or solutions to get you sorted if you need it right away.

I called on Friday and got on the list to get the new adjustment tool when it is available. I found another guy through TW who lives in my area and has the same setup. He was able to modify an existing Eibach tool (like the one Tanner used in the video) and get his adjusted, so I'm going to borrow it from him to at least get an initial adjustment made on my truck.

There are plans to continue developing new systems, that's for sure! Timelines are a ways out though.

That damned sway bar is your nemesis... its in the way the whole time. Other than that, its not too difficult to do. I got a cheap Harbor Freight (redundant description I know) puller for my tie rod ends/ball joints and I'm glad I did... One of them popped right out with the hammer trick, but the other three would not relent no matter the amount of beating on them. The puller popped them right out.

I ended up using a ratchet strap for 2 jobs... Job 1 was to pull the upper control bar down far enough to put the nut back on the upper ball joint. Job 2 was to compress the rear shocks enough to install them in the holders in the axle (since I'm still at stock height back there, the uncompressed shocks were long).
