I am going to order new shocks and springs tomorrow. I am up in the air on the OME 885 vs the eibach 2.5" lift coil. I am getting new LR UCAs to ensure alignment. I am going with billy 5100 up front at zero. Eibachs are 610 lb spring rate, 391 mm length. 885's are 590 lb spring rate 395 mm length. Looking for 2.5" lift +/-. Are eibachs too stiff? anyone have experience with both? Thanks ! JA

I think ARB makes the OME coils, 884,885,886 etc. I dont know who makes the eibachs. I think eibach makes eibach ??? maybe

nooo.. theres only like two or three coil fabricators.. eibach being one of them..

all the others are just rebranded eibachs. arb doesnt make coils.

OK, this is new to me :) different spring rate is my real question, daily driver, possible front skid in future, no bumper plans

My advice, use what works together. OME with OME and Eibach with 5100's. Yes people mix and match, but use what is designed and made to work together. Do it once, do it right.

I'm going to have to disagree, respectfully of course.

I've yet to see any problems resulting directly from the fact that it was OME being paired with the billies as opposed to the Eibachs. I guess I could have missed the cases where things went bad but I did months and months of research before buying my kit (OME 887s with 5100s, very pleased with it) and I never saw it as an issue. Not to mention there are literally hundreds (if not, thousands) of people who pair them together with no problems...so it definitely works.

If think, for a daily driver with no bumper, you'd want the softer ride, in which case the OME coils would be better...and they definitely work together.

Just my thoughts on the matter, not tryin to stir shit up :)

We send out more combos of OME Coils on Bilstein 5100s than just about any of the other options we offer. They work great together and are a great price point.

Thanks, I got the UCA's to ensure great alignment and driveability, as its my DD. I was wanting to do new leaf pack in rear, but my budget would only allow one or the other, so UCAs won out. Possible leaf pack in future, we will see.

That was a good decision, wish I wouldn't have cheaped out and just got the UCAs with my lift.

Thread revival for a quick question. I'm currently running 5100s/OME884x up front. I'm about to start adding some weight to the front so I'm considering switching to the 2.5 eibach spring for the higher spring rate to help support the weight. Any chance you could get a hub to fender measurement for me? Also, how is the ride with the eibachs? Thanks
