I left work to grab a sammich at lunchtime...on the way back, AC and fan shut down, And the dash lit up with every light imaginable. CEL, ABS, 4WD, etc. Speedo stopped working. Tach is fine, and engine runs fine, but windows won't go up or down.

Obviously something, but I haven't checked yet. Any places I should start looking? I'll look at the fuse box first of course. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks!

After doing some frantic reading and research today, it looks like it could be one of several things:

    1. Bad alternator - I'll check mine tonight with a voltmeter per this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGB6ZEjGm7Q

    2. Bad ABS Sensor. From what I've seen, the Speedo not working and the Brake warning light coming on could point to a bad ABS Sensor. I'll check them tonight.

    3. Fuse number 31 in the dash fuse panel. I need to crawl under and check these fuses.

    4. Supernatural occurrence, from a basic haunting up to full on demon possession. I'm going to try 1-3 first, but I have a priest on standby in case I need an exorcism.

God, I hope it's just a fuse that needs to be replaced.

Anyone else ever heard of this?

    Thanks!

Fuse 31 had blown. And it blew because the magnetic clutch on the AC compressor had rubbed the ground wire against the compressor pulley and shorted out.

Swapped out the mag clutch with a new one and it’s all back to good now. Sorry I didn’t update sooner!
