New member here, love all the creative ideas and experience in the forum on improving and modifying a good product and would appreciate any thoughts on the issue below. Or if this question should be raised in a different thread.

I have an ‘18 Tacoma with a shell and a DECKED bed system. I’m wanting to regain access to the power panel in the right rear of the taco bed. Anyone have ideas or experience on how to accommodate with the bed system? Thanks!

I imagine the best solution would be to create a custom extension harness that runs from the factory harness up to a new receptacle somewhere in the bed. Of course you'd want to be comfortable with wiring before doing that..

The quick and dirty way might be as simple as a really short extension cord.
