Electric fans??

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Only when the fan is not running. Once it starts, electric, or whatever, it takes power to make power. Gains are minimal.

    If you don't want to spend a lot on a fan set up, look into a Lincoln mark 8 2 speed fan or a 94 ish year t bird fan. The lincoln and t birds fan look the same but the lincoln put out more cfm(5000 ish). Google mark 8 fan conversion or thunder bird fan conversion. You can get them at a junk yard for 40 bucks

    True, but it really doesn't take much power to turn an electric fan. When you take into account the rotational mass of a clutch powered fan you begin to see legitimate parasitic loss of HP. Say your average electric fan is going to run an operating amperage of about 12 to 14 amps (about the norm.) Initial startup will be upwards of 25 but thats only for a very short period of time, less than 1 second usually. So say 14 amps x 12volts = 168 watts. 168 watts x 0.00134 = 0.221 HP. Now I couldn't tell you exactly how much our stock clutched fan is drawing without getting into some pretty complicated math, but i can assure you it is much more than .221 hp when engaged.

    Hood Strusts, remote Start, truck came with Leveling kit and wheels.
    I have a 16" fan with the standard relay kit for it. I am happy with it so far.. I just dont like the prob that I had to put through my radiator.

    I have the FAL kit. I prefer e-fans overall so I spent the money. As for any noticable gains, I have seen none, either mpg or performance. What i do get is no startup fan roar, ensuring that the fan is on when the AC compressor is, and _maybe_ a bit less engine drag when engaged (mech fan drag vs. alternator drag).

    In the end, can't justify the kit on perf and mpg gains though. Also note that I upgraded the controller to the 2-stage FAL controller in order to start the fan on a lower power usage than the full on or off of the stock FAL controller.

    As for is it complete? Yes, it comes with everything you need to install it.
