Looking to see if anyone has insight were can order this wiring harness. It is attached to the doors/lights. Possibly part of the alarm system which is disabled. I did have interlock in my truck the people that installed it spliced into my wiring harness cut my wires and I had to go in and cut their wires and piggyback off of that but during the meantime this harness is broke and it drives me crazy with a constant ticking noise. I've been to two different Toyota dealership and they have no clue they're trying to tell me it's aftermarket it is not It came with the truck when I bought it brand new '06 Tacoma. Attached a picture if anybody's got any insight I'll take it Thank you

Go take it back to those fuckheads and have them fix it. You’ve probably paid them a fortune already for their craptastic device.

FWIW, that pig tail from your picture doesn’t look like a Toyota part

Thats my first impression as well.

@Anastasia Lee can you be more specific where this harness lives / what it does? Im not sure how a wire harness 'ticks'?

That's definitely not a Toyota part, if it came with the truck then it's probably part of some dealer installed garbage.

Dealers often add nonsense stuff like that either so Repo Joe can find it if payments stop being made or so they can tack on extra fees for gimicks like a cheap alarm system.

I'd just yank that crap out, remove any taps from wires that were tapped into, and repair any wires that were cut. Usually isn't too difficult to do.

    This.
Agree it is an aftermarket POS.
Toyota doesn't splice into wires from the factory.

Dealers doing add on aftermarket crap do.
