Theres a lot of good builds on this site but they are so cluttered up with bs and the first 10 pages are normally nothing but people posting worthless comments to "sub" to a thread. Is there any way to get away from this so we don't have to sort through 100s of pages of nothing but bs to find any actual tech talk? Make build threads build threads and take the bs elsewhere? Like a section for build bs or something. I think it would greatly improve the site. Just my 0.02 cents

There is a tool if people used it, called Watch thread. It prevents the need of commenting to subscribe to a thread.

Also you can disable the auto subscribe to thread in personal settings.

    Check The Build Thread
Use the spiffy new arrows on the bottom right of somebody’s post to navigate just their posts within the thread.

    Also...sub’d!

There are now these nifty arrows at the bottom of the thread. You could jump around only looking at OP's posts to avoid a majority of BS.

But you screenshot it...so I’d concede to a tie.

Now if tcBob could write a script that parses out the worthlessness once watched....something along the lines of Toyotas new technology that keeps you from hitting a pedestrian? Possible whizardree?

I'd think it would make more sense to remove the auto subscribe if you post and just further educate or watch people frantic, eventually leading to using the actual button.

    ...before the lock!

Actually that is one of the issues here and i am as guilty as anyone. There are many great threads but many posts that are a complete waste of time. I know Bob does his best and if there is an answer that will happen. Carry on. ...sub now and sub often. ;)

Another solution would be for OP's of build threads to put links to posts with updates on the build. Im gonna go through my thread and do that at some point, but I've found threads organized like that much much more enjoyable to read.
