I would really be interested (as well as others) if you could fab up some rear mounted offroad light brackets that could work behind any mesh grill. I am sure many people would love to have this option if you could make it available.

I just need a couple of heavy duty brackets that are fab'd up for mounting. My Hella lights always shake while I drive and I'm too lazy to figure out the proper geometry for a good flat surface.

Tim or anyone else that has theirs installed,

How's the "see-through" factor with the Satoshi on the radiator when straight on at the front end? I don't have a problem doing it if I have to, but I'm trying to avoid having to paint the radiator and move the horns and all that jazz.

some crappy dealer installed lift , 285's, trail pin striping, and a grill full of lights.
I think if you stay with the raw stainless it does a pretty good job of hiding the stuff behind the grill... but i think with a black grill it creates a bit of contrast with the aluminum radiator...

    just my 2¢

I'm almost 100% sure the back sides are the same. I've done a few satoshis for members and I didn't notice any differences on the 2 piece grilles.

Agreed - I didn't notice any differences, but then again I wasn't looking for any. Just looking at your pics though Tim, I'm pretty sure everthing matches up.

I really want to get one of these grilles... but I want to see what more of the people who have already purchased say about them + pics.

Definitely interested though, looks like great work!

Forgive me for my ignorance....I know this has been asked before but the pictures I see do not prove to be true.

If I were to purchase this grille, would it mount directly to my factory '09 grille, or will I need to modify it first?

I understand I would have to cut out the center bar for the Satoshi but not so sure if I would have to for this type.

    Thanks!!

    Verrry nice!

What exactly do you have to cut off of the grille before mounting this? Sorry for the stupid question, I just haven't found a post detailing what you need to do prior to mounting this.

I really like the look with the chrome grille surround.
