Emailed one of the vendors for there suggestions and pricing on lift kits and options and the take i come away with for going 2" front and rear anything over blocks and spacers would be over kill does that sound about right.

Need more info. What do you plan on actually using the truck for? Blocks and spacers are at the bottom of the barrel as far as lift kits go.

You can lift up to 3" with a spacer lift. Most people wouldn't recommend a spacer lift, and instead get a decent set of coil overs and add-a-leaf or new leaf pack

Wanting to beef up the rear a little since adding the topper and lifting the front a couple of inches to even it out some.

Ur not gunna beef up anything with a block.
Its still gunna be the weak ass stock leafpack now with a block under it accelerating the frowning/de arching of the pack.

Get a progressive add a leaf..... a single add a leaf..... or a new leafpack.
That will "beef up" the suspension.

An add a leaf with some 5100s in the rear would accomplish that. I have never had them but hear the three leaf progressive AAL is smoother than a single AAL. 5100s up front set at zero with some OME coils should give a little lift to match the rear and be much smoother than spacers.

I mentioned an 2" ADL and 5100's with 884 coils and basically it is my choice but was toldthe nice thing about the block in the rear and the coil spacer is easier to tune and ride would be like stock that the other might be over kill

I think the 884 are 2" lift and the 885 is like 2.75 on the border line of uca needed

Personally i like the idea of the 5100's and leafs and new coils just making sure i wasnt going over board for a couple of inches of clearance before i pulled the trigger, since over kill was throwed in the equations, i noticed ive not seen many block and spacer lift threads

Are the 5100's for the rear extra reach or do they have different sizes for the rear if you add leafs

Any way i was looking at the 5100's and leafs and springs and then the block and spacer option was throwed in there kind of like a monkey wrench, i guess to give me more options who knows im going with the right option as blocks have never entered my mind till they was brought up, so it is leafs 5100's and coils, actually i was a little disapointed with the experience but im back on the right path now thats all that matters.
