This sounds crazy, is there anyway to EMP harden our Tacomas?

Prepper, eh? I don't believe so. You want an EMP proof bug-out vehicle I think you need to buy a pre-1970 vehicle with an mechanical advance ignition. I think. Interesting question.

I'm not a prepper, but I was listening to a radio program where they were discussing EMPs and that got me thinking....thought it might be an interesting topic to explore.

Hell with that, I have a classic motorcycle with a mechanical advance ignition and will keep eating fried chix and drinking beer.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Why I never leave home without my roll aluminum foil.

It would be cool if there was something that just went over the ECU and battery to keep it going!

But agreed on the moto, and they said kick start was stupid!

A strong enough solar storm could cause an emp.

I'm a good grunt. My knowledge of shield generators is rudimentary at best.

    blah, alot of money
An EMP blast is actually a big concern with the goberment. one nuclear blast 200 miles above kansas will send us back to the stone age. Pre 1978 vehicles are what your looking for.
