    Hey everyone
Noticed this oil leak this am on my 19sr5 4x4, checked my oil that was changed about 4k miles ago and it was perfectly fine. Any ideas on where this leak is at, I know almost nothing about engines so any ideas are much appreciated (tried to search and can't find what I'm looking for , which I don't really know what I'm looking for)

I see no damage to the oil pan, so have some light scraping in the lcas and supporting bars but nothing major.

I've read people have had some types of oil leak issues, is this one of those issues. I'm gonna call to get the truck in this week and see.

    Thanks again20200510_092728.jpg 20200510_092728.jpg 20200510_094034.jpg

Subscribing, looks like it has to do with the gasket, but I'm not sure

There have been reports of leaking front covers. Trace it as far forward as it goes then go up from there. Warranty will cover it.

If I'm oriented correctly, it looks like the weep hole in the bottom of the trans bell housing is the source of the fluid.

Typically that's an indicator of a rear main seal leak.

It would only take a teaspoon of oil to spread and make what you see, so you'll never see it on the dipstick.

Is that the only place that's wet? Nothing on the front or sides of the engine or pan?

Maybe check the torque on the pan bolts
Or just take it in. Warranty.

Rear main seal. It happens sometimes. Not something to be super worried about but you will want to replace it asap.
It's coming fom behind that black rectangular piece of plastic.

Any chance it is from the "oil monkey" who changes the oil....?? IE..he spilt oil on the skid plate and it blew back and all over the oil pan.?? Hard to orient from the pics.

Spray a degreaser on all the oil and then wash it off.....then monitor it VERY closely !!

THat's what I'd do at this point. Good luck man.

Looks to be coming from the bell housing.

Wow that's crazy. I noticed mine was leaking yesterday. I schedule an appointment so I have to take it in on Monday. Maybe coming from the same spot I couldn't get any good pictures because of my skid plate I didn't feel like removing it.

I don't see missing paint? I see a pan that's wet in some areas and dry in others.
