my dealer has said that to me as well. Pretty much the “common” problems we see here on the forums are things that come up regularly.

I’m just praying that if I get an oil leak it’s under that 60k miles

glad they are taking care of you OP!

This reminds me of a weep we had on our old Buick Enclave coming from the oil pan gasket. Told the dealership to replace it, what could that cost, $200 max? Turns out on that vehicle you have to pull the engine to get to the oil pan. $1800.

Use that warranty while you can!!

I drove mine with UV dye in it for a year (cause I wasn't convinced it was leaking) to get them to warranty the timing cover. Seems like they are assuming that's where the leak is. Hope it works out.

Right, not uncommon with 200K miles on it.
That leak can get real bad over time.
I had a Jeep once with 225K that leaked so bad I had to put seal swell in it and got another year out of it.

The dealership is being very stand up about it, I am definitely going to take advantage of the warranty coverage.

I smell a trade coming on...........

Be impressed with their sales staff working that out. They are on a fishing expedition, and the truck is the bait.

Glad you got it back so soon!

Does this mean nothing else was done, and they only dropped the trans to do this? Kinda like several early posts in this thread called out?

I'd be shocked if they did an R&R on the motor in that time period.
