Low RPMs going up hills I get a rattle type sound coming from the engine bay. Does it with the ac on or off. Any advice? Just dropped it back off at the dealership.

Did you switch to synthetic oil - I think mine got a little louder but not much with the switch at 5k

It's funny that you did not notice it until after an oil change. I didn't hear the pinging until right after an oil change too and I've read several posts stating the same thing. At first I thought a technician left a tool under the hood.

I had the TSB done last year. It helps.

for what it's worth, I had the same thing in my 2012 and 2014 DC (although maybe it was a different "ping")- but I always noticed it on hills. it stopped when I switched to premium gasoline. as a bonus, mileage got better too, which nearly offsets the increased gas cost.

Well the dealer said they didn't hear anything. They said I need to drive it with thier tech and point out the noise to him. I am going to print out the tsb before I go back to show them what I think will be the fix. I will update this next week when I go back.

I just had this TSB done this week. Some people pay more for premium fuel to solve the problem and I don't think that it is worth it when this engine is rated to run on regular 87. My truck has no more problems now and it was free.
