Hey guys I have a 2013 trd 4.0 v6,with 85k on the odometer, and this all started at about 70k miles, when I start it on a cold start the engine shakes pretty bad,and almost seems like it's off balance, when you Rev it up,and I've changed plugs, denso copper, ran tons of fuel treatment, tried higher grade gas(makes a slight difference),and cleaned the maf,and the throttle body, and I've also used a head gasket checker(the kind with fluid that changes color) and I don't know what else to do,can anyone give me some kind of direction?it also makes a pop on driverside on initial start up,and when the truck is warm it still has a rough idle

    Any slow loss of coolant?

Next time it sits overnight, pop the radiator cap and see if the level is a bit low before starting the engine

Not that I've noticed,I actually had a gassy smell last oil change, thought maybe injectors, but I did do use a block tester to rule that out and did it for about 15 mins while running on top of the overflow hole, and it never got no bubbles or any change in the color of the fluid in the tester

The chemical block test doesn't always reveal the leak. Lots of false negatives with that test

You can start pulling spark plugs and look for a shiny clean piston..

I always ask about the coolant level because sometimes that's the only sign that something is leaking. And if it's not leaking externally (like dripping out and leaving a stain on the outside of the motor) it has to be leaking internally

HGs can be hard to detect, especially if it's the beginning stages of a leak. Not a lot to go off of other than the rough running on startup
