I am looking to buy a White 2012 Toyota Tacoma DCLB. I wanted to know what people thought about the Entune system vs the Avic z130bt. I have heard the 130 is better than the new 140 and I can get a 130 for pretty cheap. (I am also looking at adding ********* SQ1 or 2 to the truck.) On to my question...Is it worth buying the truck with entune, or saving the money and invest it into a new system (z130, and system)? Or buy the truck at a good deal with entune, change them out, and sell the entune system? Any thoughts?

    thanks,

    Drew.

I'm happy with the entune JBL system. It is plenty loud, sounds good and clear, and works well. My aftermarket days are behind me and this has satisfied my tech needs. It's worth it to me to just have it come from the factory rather than having to jack around with taking door panels off and wiring things, etc. but I never really liked doing that much anyways.

z130bt, I'm very happy with mine. Entune didn't do everything I needed it too, so this was an easy choice for me.

I love entune, I like the factory look and the JBL system is great IMO. I didn't want to do aftermarket again. Good luck with your choice. If you can, go to a dealership and mess around with a tacoma that has entune.

I have the AVIC-X9130BT, the model right below the Z130. I love it. 100% customizable. Even calculates your MPG for you (you have to enter it manually) and cost of a trip entered into the GPS. Theres soo much more you can do with this head unit. I have mine set up with my iPhone. I got the ipod cable off of eBay for $14 and now have the ability to stream Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, or any other audio or video to the head unit via my phone. Great for passengers or kids.
