Hi there - I'm a newbie here to TW + to owning a tacoma.

I just purchased a 2014 Tacoma Sport Double Cab w/ Long bed.
Loving the truck and its capabilities thus far.

Although, not totally sold on the 'Entune Multimedia Center'

Are there any hacks out there to customize the system?
The UI is not the greatest and at this point its really just easier to use phone vs screen.

    Thanks for any beta.

    Cheers!

Entune just sucks.. The idea is great but the approach didn't work out. Go buy an aftermarket HU and you'll be a lot more happy.. If you like apps, check out Pioneer App Radio 2.

Did you get the entune premium with the nav and app suite or untune plus?

    Hey Peto48 -
We have the entune Premium w/ Navigation.

One thing that is pretty annoying is the HD never works where we live. When we are in a bigger city the weather location is so off.

Really think the current temperature was a big miss.

    The navigation is okay.
I dig how you can turn on map trace and have your route tracked // super helpful in unfamiliar location.

    Cheers,
    g

Is there anyway to download the trace routes or upload them to the head unit? I feel like there's so much untapped potential to this damn entune unit. Wish I could access it and write custom apps!
