It's great. Much more comfy than the FJ. Just put an oem rack on it I got from a partout on MUD. Was going to go your route with the trail tailor mounts and unistrut, but it was only $200. Need to find time to install OME 865 springs, and trail tailor upper and lower rear links+ extended sway bar links, and crank tbars. Then buy a set of tough dog shocks.

Still need to replace the rad, tbelt etc... As well. But I need time.

Overall very pleased. I like it, wife likes it, kids like it.

Damn, didn't even think about it. I figured yours came naked too since you build one.

I've been working on a diy custom grill on and off for a little while now. Here's where I'm at today. Still need to make the attachment points and paint it all black. Toyota will be River Rock Green, and outlined in silver.

Nice. How'd you attach the expanded metal to the grill?

I used Alumiweld, it's a low temp rod that melts using a butane torch. I made tabs out of the scraps and welded them on at about 10 different points.

This past weekend I finally finished up some small projects that I had been putting off. I made some mud flap delete panels to cover the area behind the bumper and add a few more inches of clearance. I also made a fairing for my roof rack.

Had a set of LX wheels powder coated a Dark Metallic Gray. Need to get some work done before they get put on but I'm looking forward to the new set up. Tires are BFG 305/65/18

Haha, Yep! I got a smokin deal on these awhile back and they have just been sitting in my garage. I still need to get some front end work done before they can go on, so hopefully I can do that pretty soon.
