Escape 21 and towing with a 2017 Tacoma with tow package

Picking up an Escape 21' TT tomorrow. Installing brake controller today. Opinions on WDH? I've been told to try it without before deciding if I need one. I'm picking up it up several hours away from home and am concerned about pulling it home without one. Any input appreciated. Dry weight approx 3500lbs, tongue weight approx 350 lbs.

 

You should be ok, just drive slower. Will make a big difference if your ball is at the right height.

I thought my Andersen rapid hitch was nice, that hitch is even nicer.
