Escort Magnum 20 gauge semi-automatic shotgun

Bought an Escort Magnum 20 gauge semi-automatic shotgun about a week ago and this coming weekend will be trying it out while Dove hunting.

Anyone else have one, tried it out, etc.?

My girlfriend shoots one. I have shot it a few time its a pretty smooth shooting gun. Kinda picky on shells it likes but works for the most part. We got hers as a demo for under 300$

 

Under $300, damn that was too good of a deal to pass up!

I tried it out this past weekend and I like the way it handles and yes you are definitely right about it being picky with the shells but overall I just figured that it's new and needs to be broken in, that's all.

The main reason why I bought it (purchased from Academy Sports) was because it was the only "left handed shotgun" that was available (which are rare by the way) and the price for it. I paid a total of $483 and change for it.

It is a bit louder (I think) than my 12 gauge Mossberg but overall I'm satisfied with it!

Was down there a week ago, we always enjoy are time down there, hate leaving that place!

 

Yep I'm a Fishing Guide down here and do hunting/Fishing in the winter. I find that that Escort like brass cased shells and not aluminum

 

At the time when I made the purchase, they (Academy Sports) were pushing their store brand which are sold exclusively by Academy and so I decided to buy a few boxes and try them out.

 

Yep We bought cases of them. All my buddies call my garage mini academy...
