Etunes update

2018 OR, found an update on the owners site to the etunes system. Instructions are to download to usb drive on computer then plug into the truck too update. Has anyone accomplished this update and to what affect? Good or bad?

 

I’ve always done mine in the truck “over the air” downloads.

 

Sooooooooooooooooooo old. The latest version came out in 09/08/2017.

Do it over the air if it wasn't done years ago.

Have you actually done a Garmin map update to the SD card? Sounds too good to be true. I’m in need of an updated map and this might be a way to get it?

 

No i cannot find a chip on my 2021 system
I tried creating a micro chip but the program is not find my chip to continue

 

I have Entune premium and have never installed the Entune app, never updated the head unit, never upgraded the maps. My cell phone is older an my truck and has worked flawless for 6 years (voice calls, texting, playing music, pairing).

There is one new road near my house that the NAV says I am driving through a field. Other than that, the NAV gets me to every destination I have put in.

I am afraid if I update anything I might screw up the flawless operation.
