So my 2008 Taco is throwing a slew of codes. This thread talks about it in detail: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cel-p043e-p043f-p2401-p2402-and-p2419.187824/page-4

I'm inclined to tackle this one myself. The only thing scaring me is how to get this connector off. Its the fuel tank vent line I believe and this is the end connected to the evap canister. I can see that grey rectangle on this side but cannot tell what's on the other. It does wiggle a bit and I think it needs to be unlatched on the opposite side. Any tips?

I think you push in on the line and down on the rectangle “button”. Then pull out on the line.
    Maybe @Bishop84 knows for sure?

They can be a bear to disconnect as they tend to get packed full of dirt, you have to press the 2 rectangle buttons in (one on each side) while pulling and twisting it.
Blowing it out with air while tapping on it and pressing the buttons helps get the dirt worked loose and blown out.

dm93 is spot on. Clean first, press both squares at same time.

I try to press it towards first then pull off.

If you're struggling use a little bit of spray lube, but only if you are stuck.
