Last week I started experiencing problems with my truck and I've been holding out on posting anything until it was confirmed. On Friday, I was driving to work when the TPMS light came on. I pulled over and checked all the tires. I couldn't see anything wrong. So I checked the PSI and sure enough, one tire was a little low. So I aired it up and decided to keep an eye on it. Over the weekend I didn't have any problems. So then this morning at the same time as Friday, the TPMS light comes on again. So I pull over and no visual signs. I check the tires and the same tire as Friday is low. So I aired it up and decided to have the tire shop check it out when I had my rims put on this afternoon. I brought the truck in and told them what was going on and that I wanted it checked out. They said they already had an idea of the problem and I wasn't the first Tacoma today. So they checked it out and sure enough, they were right about the problem. There was a screw through the tire. WTF Toyota? It's bad enough we have to worry about all sorts of mechanical problems, but now we have to worry about screws in our tires too?!?! This would have never happened with a first gen. There are people who have had their first gen for 200,000 miles and never got a screw in their tires! If I knew this was the kind of shoddy craftsmanship I could expect from Toyota, I would have bought a Honda Element and started blowing dudes. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER TOYOTA!!!!

    ^trifecta!

I was holding out on you guys too. I've had some problems recently as well. I've had to put gas in the damn truck like twice this week! I mean, who even buys gas anymore? Does Toyota REALLY expect us to run on fossil fuels? Sooooo archaic! Why didn't they include the onboard nuclear powerplant?

    Shoddy workmanship...they're slipping!

I've been experiencing that one, too. But I was afraid to post it because I didn't want to look like a noob. It's like driving this damn truck uses gas or something! My first gen ran on sunlight and Ed Hardy vodka.
