I won't judge someone doing their own welding on their own truck to truly do it yourself or even to help out a friend.... But.... I will judge a manufacturer on their welds, especially if they are charging over $200 for a something like this. Those welds better be great for that price!

Someone doing their own welding and someone charging for a product as a Manufacturer... Apples and Oranges

Here is the different functions including the white cargo lights if chosen that way. I have a switch pro so it was easy to wire up two brake lights, and two for cargo. For those wondering about the blue, it does indicate a slower vehicle in the desert. Which is true...anyone who owns a Tacoma knows it’s not a trophy truck. I also have two baja designs squadron sport ambers in my bed.

As others have already stated, skip that rear light. Looks like it will start rusting at a certain point too.

I have no affiliation with Evil Manufacturing/Dirt Kartel. I simply like the product that they are producing and was curious to see if anyone else had the product and to show everyone that personally, I think this product is awesome.

It would be better if it didn’t look like I welded it...

I like it (except for the stupid price) and I thinks it's an improvement for 2nd gens and 3rd gen access cabs but I like the 3rd gen double cab OEM brake light better.

Btw, what's that brace in your bed?

I have a custom relocation made by a fellow TW member. He created it as a bolt on kit but after I bought it, I opted out to have it welded to the frame and had my fab guy make a custom brace to go across the bed for extra support between the two relocation brackets. You can see more pics on the build thread.

Op, definitely a long time scanner of Tacoma World. I don’t really know how to use the site that well but, I recently purchased this third brake light for my 2nd gen and absolutely love the product. The brake light and cargo LED are plenty bright and I chose the Amber dust light as well.

I am not affiliated to this company, but with my dealings with the “Doug” in particularly he has been absolutely amazing with the quick responses and customer service. I love the all in one concept and not a drop of water inside my cab.

    Great product EVIL !

Going to throw out there.... (for no other reason than just seriously hoping someone comes up with something similar) if they revised this design (and better execution on welds), or someone came up with something similar that would hold an S2, and not require drilling into the truck, I'd be on board (even at $200), and imagine many others would be as well. Love that it holds an S2 for a bright high scene / area light, has the lower intensity bed lights, and still functions as a 3rd brake light.

Been thinking on how to get an S2 or two up high without drilling, installing roof racks, etc., and this almost gets it. Almost. Heck, I could clean up the bad welds with a grinder and have it powder coated, but I'd be into it $300 at that point (without the S2), and still drilling into the cab.
