Evil Manufacturing/Dirt Kartel Tacoma 3rd Brake Light

I figured I should chime in my .02 worth. This will most likely be my only post ever on this forum because we do not do much on them but this forum seems like a good forum. There are a few things to say about all 5 pages of this topic which by the time I finish this message it may be page 6. Yes, I have went through and read all of the posts, one by one. The reasoning for this is to understand what is being said, both negative and positive. To all the positive comments, I personally thank you for them. For the negative comments, I understand that everyone has a right to voice their opinions, I understand that each and everyone likes a particular style and look, I also understand that some people think this item is priced to high, and all of this is ok. The one thing I want everyone to understand is that we stand behind our products, we own up to our mistakes, and we fix any mistakes that have been made. A customer of ours, who posted above, alerted us to this thread and to be honest, I am embarrassed that this was even allowed out to be sold to anyone with the weld looking like that. I assure each of you that we do know how to weld plus we do care about the final product and our reputation. I have personally reached out to taco_tallua via a conversation and offered to replace his mount because it is not up to our standards, plus it looks like he lives in Anaheim so I have offered to do the swap for him here at the shop so that he does not have to waste his time doing it. I personally think OP's photo made the weld look worse than it is. The light reflecting in a funky way. However, its awesome to know you stand behind your work and will go above and beyond to make things right.

It took some serious character to come into this hate-fest and stand and deliver. Kudos!

I’d give yours a try with a 3/4 NMO hole for a mount I’m ripping my hair out trying to find a mounting soulution

 

I think it looks awesome! Definitely something I would add to my truck. Functional and looks great. I think a lot of the previous replies are from guys not familiar with baja, pre-runners or the desert scene. Good job man!

My red leds went out on my Evil MFG 3rd brake light, does anyone know where i can get some replacements?

 

Does any one know the part number to this LED or know where I can get a replacement?
