Finally glad to have it done. One thing no one mentions is the prerunner crossmember mounts on the frame don't sit as low as the factor 4x4. So it had to come down and forward to make it fit

Wouldn't just finding a 4x4 cross member work too? Or does it not bolt up to the prerunner?

Better to ask what I have not done.
Thats what we had to mod. The 2wd would have been even worse off.

Nope, if it's look closely at the pic we used 1/4 plate and moved it as needed. That crossmember is from a 4x4

Well damn rats or rabbits, something got under my hood and chewed all the new 4x4 wires:annoyed:

Finally got it repaired and closed up again.
Did realize something for anyone using an electronic shift case, if your wires are crossed and the internal limit switches don't stop the motor they will go past the point of no return and when the wiring is corrected it won't work correctly. You have to manually send power to the motors to move them into a middle spot by unplugging the computer. Then once it's all hooked up the computer can place it where it needs to be to work correctly.

    Looks good Josh

What AR are you building? I am working on a long range rifle myself :D I have the AR and it doesnt have the thrills I thought it would. Figured a 1200 yard rifle in a 300 Win Mag will make me happy for a while :)

Thanks bud, right now I'm still pricing together the lower but almost done, being left handed makes parts more expensive. As for an upper I wanna start with a 18" 556 and eventually get 76.2x39 and 9mm.
Hopefully today I'll be able to get my girl a 357 lever action.

Yea. I used the 4Runner 4wd computer. And attached the speed sensor and neutral switch wire. Tucked the computer up under the passenger side dash close to the airbag IMG_2692.jpgThe gray box at top of pic is the computer.

There was a connector taped up in the corner that must have been for the off road model's locker, that's where the power, ground and vss all are located

OP, on 4runners center differential lock switch have 4 wires, but wiring diagram only shows two wires. Did you figure out were do other cables go (g and w-g)?20170103_203004.jpg
