Exhaust choices

Hey guys, looking to hear your experience on the exhausts choices available for my trd off road 2016, I just installed a magnaflow muffler and I don't like it, the deep sound I was looking for is not there, it's super loud inside the truck, it vibrates all over when you push on the gas, anyways, what exhaust can give me a deep, racy sound, with no drone inside the cabin. Gibson, borla, mbrp?

I can comment on which exhaust to get (I think there's only a couple of cat backs available, unless you go custom), but getting a truly deep tone from a 60 degree V6 will be difficult.

 

The TRD exhaust sounds great, the perfect amount of "loud" for me (wouldn't want any louder).

 

Just Ordered an MBRP Exhaust from AutoAnything with they're 20% off coupon "Spring17" only good till the 28th. From what I've read they're a good, makes it louder without any drone. Only time will tell.

 

THIS^ Also, they're all loud at first. Isn't the break-in period like 700 miles?

 

Gonna need a V8. Not gonna happen with the 4.0, 2.7, or 3.5.

 

If the GR engines were a 90 degree V it would help with a deeper exhaust tone.

 

went with a Magnaflow Cat exhaust system....sounds pretty good.

 

I had a buddy who got rid of his mbrp on tacoma, droning drove his wife crazy...

I bought the same system today for $539. Looking forward to installing it.

 

Welded a Flowmaster Super 40 in my 16 OR DC LB. Resonates in the cab at high 2nd gear, low 3rd but once you cruise it's fine in the cab. Let my wife take it to work the other day and watched her drive away, sounds really good from the driveway. Pipes underneath are brand new, couldn't bring myself to ripping out brand new metal for a full "cat back" system. I'll have to get a video.

 

I went with the TRD exhaust and love it. It's a V6 so don't expect to get V8 sound.

 

It's a minivan motor. Leave the exhaust alone.

I am a fan of Bosal and they make the TRD exhaust. MBRP is a good brand too, but expect the sound to be loud and alittle "braaaaaaappp" dirt bike style when u get on it

You said you had a Magnaflow muffler? that's not the same as a full exhaust system

 

is the whole system quieter?
