I've got a Flowmaster 40 muffler on my '99 V6. Sounds real beastly, I like it. Many others don't.

But I'm pretty sure most will vote Magnaflow. Like someone else said earlier today, I think they sound more like a Honda than a truck, IMO. Idk :notsure:

The Flowmaster 40 is gonna give you a bit of cab noise. It is one of the loudest and deepest though. I hear Tacos with the 40s on them every now and then(or what sounds like 40s), it makes me grin.

I am running a 50 single in dual out. Deep at lower rpms, pretty loud, kinda ricey at higher rpms.
But from a 3.4, your obviously not gonna get a 5.7 Hemi rumble.

JBA headers & exhaust, new cats, K&N CAI, new shocks, 2.5" lift, Prodigy P2, Timbren, snobord552 light bar (v.2), KC off-roads and Hella fog lights, Teflon A/R ATX 16" Ledge, Nitto Terra Grappler, (265/75R16's), ultragauge, curt roof rack on thule set-up.
I am clearly in the minority here. I went with JBA headers and then a JBA single (chrome tip) exhaust. Nice rumble at 2K on the Tach. Not too loud at highway speeds, can hear yourself think and talk to shotgunner. But, may not be loud enuf for y'all young'ins (lol).

FM 40 two chamber was to tinny to me even when my whole cab was sound deadened so I switched to a Magnaflow 24".
