I have a magnaflow that I got off a member here for a sweet price! I like the way it sounds, no noticeable gains. I do not think it is terribly loud, but last vehicle was considerably modded... and faster.

I have been meaning to upload the video to YouTube... I will do that now. Back in a few.

I have MBRP, and I don’t really have any complaints. It doesn’t drone, it is loud, and has a great sound. Maybe not magnaflow, but it was WAAAAAY cheaper. I paid less than $300 for mine. It’s raspy, but what V6 isn’t. Don’t expect any performance gains. Exhaust is mainly an appearance thing nowadays.

You all have no idea what drone is if you say it drones. Loud exhaust is going to be loud. No exhaust is loud outside and silent inside.

Drone is always worse on an auto. I have a manual, and don’t have any annoying drone. Just sweet, loud, sound. That said, cabin noise is present. It will annoy you on highway road trips. Any exhaust will.

MBRP has an off-the-books option for a cheap replacement muffler if you think the one it comes with is too loud. One of my friends did that and it sounds completely different, still cheaper than magnaflow.

Make sure you watch good quality videos with good headphones. No laptop or phone speakers. This gives you the best idea.

I have a 2014 BAJA TX (wife daily driver now) and the exhaust noise on the new PRO is just lame compared with the stock 2014. I wan't happy until I changed it. If you are happy with it that's great. Also, a lot of people are saying the that the sound system on the PRO is decent (probably compared with wired empty cans). I beg to differ. I had to change that one too. I do have a lame video taken on the outside and inside the cabin. I will have to trim it down because it's on 4k and about 4G. I will let you know when I have it ready.

Here you go.... I have two really bad videos. Just listen to the sound to a big speaker. Summary: outside, inside window close, inside window open. I never exceeded 3800 RPM but I pushed the throttle.I also have a TRD cold air intake installed on my truck. Usually it's quieter than what you hear on the video.

I can't recommend getting the TRD exhaust from Toyota. No noticeable drone. Nice deep sound. It's not obnoxious or ricey sounding. Can't recommend enough if you want a little sound for a daily driver

So... i got lost. But i finally uploaded the youtube video of my exhaust. Magnaflow cat back part number 19291 single outlet with stainless steel tip. Complete bolt on an replaces the factory cat back in 30 minutes. It has a deep sound, no drone, sounds like an actual truck. Use of headphones is highly recommended.

Let me know if you guys want me to try and get a rolling video. My mic adapter broke last time so I couldn't upload the video. Enjoy!

The mbrp sounds good for less than 300 bucks.

Multiple reviews are saying a 0.5 - 1 mpg gain. Sounds too good to be true?

Let us all know what you think when you get it!

Random install tip, but if you have a short bed, I suggest cutting off an additional 1/4” or so extra from what the directions say. I cut off the exact amount they said and it fit real tight. You don’t want the system to be compressed for length, with a constant force on things.

Unless you live in a super mild climate, you want stainless. If for nothing else, for the lifetime warranty.

Agree 100 percent but I think I can get away with it in Southern California. I'm not sure if the factory stock exhaust is stainles but its already sowing sighns of rust.

Factory is stainless, but it's more than likely just discoloration. Factory exhaust systems tend to last a WHILE, even here in the harsh northern New England climate.

That's good to know then since I waa going to keep my factory exhaust anyways just in case.
