    If you want a louder exhaust, go with a different muffler. I'd leave the pipe at stock size. Larger exhaust piping can give small power gains at high rpm, but can hurt low end torque. I thought low end torque is what a 4 cylinder truck engine was all about. Headers can help with low end torque, but the stock long runner manifolds look pretty good as is. Aftermarket headers may help with top end or possibly mid range power.
