    Hi again.

What do y'all suggest for replacement system for my truck? From rear converter to tailpipe.

I would suggest this part from rockauto the walker Quiet flow.
This would require you to also buy the Pipe 53398 that has the 02 sensor port. Some exhaust clamps will do the trick to snug it all up.

I originally put a MRBP exhaust on and the dROOOOOONEEEeee noise was unbearable for my taste.

My truck now has the Quiet flow and its been working great for me.

Don’t rule out a muffler shop
It’s been a while since I’ve used(unknown what Covid pricing has done to these small shops)

    if they quote over $250-$300….walk

I am about to walk outside and install the 2 piece Walker exhaust now. The muffler is the quietflow one... will report back and take some pictures.

Got it through Rockauto, was packaged really well.

Terrific Noodles! You have impeccable timing.
Can you please list all the rockauto parts, including part numbers so I can make sure I have a complete set for my installation?

Since your truck is different, the part #s won't match up. Rockauto walks you through it pretty easily just search your year/engine.

I am content, not impressed. Fitment, like most aftermarket, is 95% with 5% of frustration. It didn't seem to mate up well to the cat (also Walker) and I have a leak at the top... if it doesn't throw a light I'm going to leave it. The clamp also did not equally clamp and seal from pipe -> muffler. It dripped water there. I re-orientated the clamp we will see. I had to bend 2 of the hanger brackets, annoying, but with a hammer not bad. The rear one just did not even come close to fitting up with the exhaust bracket drop from my lift. But it works.

Sound is ok, around the same as OEM? Mine wasn't leaking before so hard to really tell. There was pieces of the old cat inside the muffler and had a horrible rattle which is why I replaced. I guess for $200 can't really complain much. Get some goof-off... just stickers are a pain.

My install was pretty similar definitely had to bend the 2 hanger brackets but overall it was close enough. I also put SS worm clamps on my exhaust hanger brackets to keep the rubber hangers from backing off.

Got the leak worked out... a band clamp worked great but took the welder to it last weekend and that solved it. Extended hangers are also an option to help it clear the cab. With that fixed, the exhaust is dead silent.

So you think I will need a welder for the install?

Not required, the band clamp was enough to seal it but welds seal better :)

    Hey Noodles

I just watched a YouTube channel video from one of my subscriptions. I absolutely trust this guy. He says Walker mufflers and pipes are crap and they turn blue hot really quickly. He was installing a new muffler and pipes on his personal Tundra. He did get a different brand from Rockauto which was a OES. I am not a muffler guy but he says it looked like quality stuff and was very impressed how it fit.

It did turn blue quick but its held well. For the price I would probably install it again if needed.

I noticed you have a 2.7L. How long has your Walker lasted you?

I have had the LCE exhaust in my 2.7 for about a year and it's great. Sounds killer but perhaps bit loud for some. Really nice kit. Still looks new. No drone or pops.

I run the LCE header then walker everything else. Installed it back in June and it’s been just fine, looks the same. I did weld up the two pieces together. It’s a great cheap alternative to oem
