Not everyone is willing to venture into the realm of non emissions legal.

But as far as your statement, You are correct:cool:

I've read posts where people have passed emissions with the Doug Thorley headers on TN. That set up allows you keep 2 of the 4 mufflers as well as the oxygen sensors behind the headers if you keep the stock exhaust in place. That's the route I'm considering right now...

i got the DTLH...the rest of the exhaust is still stock...

as far as the sound its a lot better than stock...you can hear it at about 1500rpms...

you do lose a little torque (low end) but with the DTLH (ceramic coated) it moves the power higher up on the power bandwidth giving you more top end...trust me when I get on it, it sounds like a beast...TITS IMHO...

DTLH does remove the front 2 cats...it does retain the 2nd set of cats cause that's in the Y-pipe...now if your in cali...you won't pass (at least its extremely hard to pass) cause they do the sniff test, as well as inspect under the vehicle at certain smog check locations...

+1 for the long tubes.... If I was to ever get an exhaust it would just be the muffler, probably a magnaflow, but I really want the long tubes.
