    If you take your CAT and cut it off and just have a pipe that comes from the headers all the way to the muffler. What would this do to your truck if you cut off the CAT? like will it loose power, give it more power or it will do nothing.

    Dont have to worry about being illegal there's no police that check for stuff like that.

    Stuff that makes it easier to run over other stuff.
    You will be unable to pass emissions, and may throw CELs. Some shops will not work on a vehicle with altered emissions systems because it's illegal in most states. The trade off will be a small improvement in throttle response, top-end horsepower, and potentially better fuel economy.

    My friend said it didnt sound any different. Also he carried it to this place to have it worked on cause it had a exhuast leak near the muffler and they cut off the CAT for him.
