Is there any break in on glass before first use with the synthetic clay pads or mitts?

Yes. All the mitts I’ve used require a break in on glass prior to using on the paint.

When breaking the clay mitts in are there any indication when it's ready to be use on paint?

Maybe I need to calm down then!

Or get a new paint job, I got the truck with a Maaco style respray that is, let's just say rough.

Although I've never been one to fret over paint as much, I'd just a soon Rhino-line it versus a glossy respray.

I always like it when I see people recommend using a claybar on scratches.

I used a synthetic clay sponge today before I sealed my truck. They work well for minor contaminants. If the paint has heavy amounts, I prefer to use Meguiars professional detailing clay
