With enough flexy bandaids anything is possible, its like duct tape for wounds.

32's on 15x8 rims, all stock besides a slightly ugraded stereo system. Ac was broken and my dad got it for me for 900$ cash. Had 68k on it and the guy missed fuckin frame recall deadline by like days. The frame was rotted to shit so i drove it for a year or two before it started clanging as the shock mount in the rear right snapped apart from the frame. Sold it to some mexicanis from
Boston with like 76k for $2150, keep a look out its out there somewhere!

Damn! I paid 3600 for mine. Only fixed clutch master cylinder. Drove it for 6 months. It had 176k on it. Rear upper shock ripped from frame. Sold it for 3600 to a friend who drove it for 3 more years.

I was trying to bring back mini-trucks. Bought some jeep 15" wheels. An upgrade from the stock 14".

The good old days when a full set of tires were $200. Haha!

same place mine ripped off the frame, sad day for sure. I could've driven that thing forever with a new frame under it. legit i get so excited when i see a cheap set of 33's then realize they are 15's and curse the size of our calipers. My buddy put a set of 4 tires on his tercel for like 150$ i was like holy shit i paid more for one tire.

stock is never the option. I tell my self when i can afford it that im going to get a 5.7 tundra stock to tow my current truck and make it a trail rig. But come on, that tundras gonna be on a 6" lift and 35's in no time.

I am torn between double cab for the larger bed or crewmax and short bed simply because the crewmax interior is so beautiful. I saw a double cab 8 ft bed offroad edition yesterday getting sold and i was like damn that things pretty. But i can only imagine the 2-3 mpgs i would get towing a 8 ft bed full of gear and a truck

Also remember length helps towing. Better control and overall experience than shorter wheel base. go big or go home you already got a mini truck

The tundras tow well. I'd look into the 2500s as well if you haven't already.

I am far from being able to afford two vehicles let alone a full size. More of a dream right now or plans for the future you could say. Im pretty die hard toyota honestly, the only american thing that wont die is a good old school diesel. Other than that they all suck, plus the 5.7 sounds awesome with a muffler delete to dual tips.

Same about the toyotas. Ownded them since I was in my teens.

Just noting that depending on needs there can be better trucks out there for certain uses. In my years of big construction I've had everything from 2500, 2500hd, 3500hd , 250-350 super duty gaser and diesel, rack bodies, flad beds (welding rig), towed minis, other trucks, a 1600lb welder with a full rack body of tools and a full 60lb fuel cell up Killington.

    You get the pic.

Some trucks just do certain work better. For me personally, the tundra is well suited for a home owners truck but if hauling thing regularly it lacks a but for me. And in all rights I do want to like the truck. We have two in my family.

I know it. But how cool is a big reg cab towing a little reg cab? lol as much as I'd like that, realistically I would probably buy a GMC 2500HD if I went to a full size truck.

Ok, I am just throwing this out there. This is in no way any type of requirement or anything

With all this talk about coms lately and just for shits and giggles (<<< showing my age there) I gave a call to Rugged Radios and spoke to a nice girl named Lacey (who BTW knows TW and drives a Tacoma on Icons ). I know that they get involved in events much bigger than ours but I figured why not give them a call and see if they would be will willing to do anything for us that want some of their awesome radios.
Anyways she said with the amount of people that we have going that we will most likely be needing something with more range than what we have been talking about. The radio she recommended is called the RM-25R . It's a 25 watt dual band radio that comes with a antenna, cable, bracket and even a cigarette lighter adapter. This radio normally sells for about $250 and she would be willing to do it at a price of $185. They also make a pretty slick handheld unit RH-5R that she would give us for $68 but recommends this antenna to go with it.

So like I said not a requirement but I figured why not make a call anyways as they are supposed to make a pretty good radio and they ended up with giving us a good deal on the stuff if we want it. Sort of like a GB.

So if anyone wants her information just let me know and I will give it to you
